The subject is a technical paper and questions asked are such as Dual characteristics of an antenna, Radiation from Two wire, optimum spacing used in parasitic array, Helical Antenna, Space wave propagation, Duct propagation, characteristics of F1 and F2 layers, reasons for reduction of field strength in sky wave propagation, Directive Gain and Power Gain, Parasitic Element etc. The paper contains 1-2 questions of numerical type and some questions are asked of diagram based type, in this type of questions, candidates are required to solve the questions with suitable diagram or circuit diagram. All questions are of equal marks and each question is further divided into 2-3 sub questions.

Questions in this paper are 8 and 5 from that questions are required to be attempted.

The subject of Antennas and wave Propagation is a technical paper and questions asked in this paper are from the theoretical as well as numerical part.
